Michael C. Marcangelo age 87, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2026. Michael was the beloved husband of Janice (née Amato), with whom he shared 69 years of marriage.

Michael was the proud father of Margaret Kelleher, Dawn (Robert) Anderson, Michael (Cathy) Marcangelo, and Jeanne (Michael) Furio. He was the beloved Papa of Christopher, Shawn, Matthew, Nicole, Caitlin, Kyle, Nicholas, the late Ryan, and Michael. Cherished great-grandfather of Katrina, Elli, Emmy, Santino, Finn, Theo, and Sydney.

Michael loved his family dearly and treasured every moment spent with his beloved wife, Janice, his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. His greatest joy was being surrounded by the people he loved, and the memories he created with his family will remain in their hearts forever.

Visitation for Michael will take place on Saturday, October 3, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, Illinois. The funeral will then proceed to Queen of Peace Parish at St. Eugene Church for an 11:30 a.m. Mass. Interment will be private.

Michael will be deeply missed, but his love, devotion, and beautiful legacy will live on through the generations of family he cherished so dearly.
