Michael Ferguson

Michael Wayne Ferguson, beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on October 1, 2024. He will be remembered as a vibrant, humorous, and charming personality that shared love and laughter with those lucky enough to have known him.  Hardworking and loyal, he was always quick to lend a hand to help or a shoulder to lean on. Mike could instantly light up a room with his striking smile and infectious laugh. Amongst the many things he will be remembered for, he was perhaps most passionate about teaching dogs to be well mannered and training people to be goofballs. . . that and a healthy amount of martial arts and rock and roll.

Mike is survived by his devoted wife, Marian (Asta) Ferguson; his loving children, Michael Ferguson (Paola), and their two sons, Michael and Lucas, and Lisa Ferguson, and her daughter, Norah Nemeth. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Eunice Ferguson, and his sister, Pat (Ferguson) Prather. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mike’s memory to The Almost Home Foundation, an organization he was very passionate about supporting.
