Michael Thomas Coughlin, 78, at rest June 11, 2025. Dear son of the late John Lawrence and Cecilia Coughlin. Loving brother of John L. Coughlin and the late Dolores Dienhart. Fond uncle of Sean (Haley) Coughlin, Melissa (William) Coughlin Regan, George Dienhart, Michael Dienhart, and the late Debra Dienhart. Great uncle of Natalia Coughlin, Alannah Regan, and William Regan. Longtime friend of Preston Adams, Christopher Wahl, and the late Michael Bakunas. Michael was born on the southside of Chicago near 63 ^rd and Cottage Grove. He moved with his family to the northside of Chicago when he was 10 years old, and lived in the Chicago the rest of his life. He was a graduate of Lane Tech High School. He served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War as a radio operator. After the war he worked as a printer until his retirement. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 17, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge. Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation at St. Francis Boriga Catholic Church, Chicago, at 11:30 a.m. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
