Michael A. Ciampanelli, 66, put up a tough fight. Unfortunately, after a long struggle with cancer the fight became too difficult to overcome. Michael passed on November 4th 2017. He spent most of his days doing what he loved — running his family business M.C. Foods. The company was founded in 1956 by his father Michele Ciampanelli. His loving wife, Mirna and granddaughter, Tara “Princess” Kerrigan remained exceptionally strong and stood by his side throughout his entire journey. He was surrounded with love and support from his three stepdaughters Lisa (John) Toth, Anita (Kevin) Kerrigan and Marina Jakubowski. Throughout his battle Michael found inspiration in his seven grandchildren, John and Anthony Toth, Sam and Zach Jakubowski, Tara, Kelly and Rachel Kerrigan. Michael had the comfort of his mother Antoinette and late father Michele Ciampanelli, His brother Pat (Carol) Ciampanelli, his nieces and nephew, Anna, Alissa and Michael Ciampanelli and his sister Adeline (Dominick) Ciampanelli-Cecala who he cared about very much. In addition to his many cousins, aunts, uncles, work colleagues and friends. We will be celebrating Michael’s life. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 9th from 4-8pm at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL.
