Michael J. Carone, 87, passed away January 24, 2023. Proud Army Veteran. Retired Chicago Police Officer after 40 years of service. Beloved husband of Darlene for 57 wonderful years. Loving son of the late Vincenzo and Jennie Carone. Dear brother of the late Sam (the late Geraldine) Carone, Rosemarie (Stewart) Channon. Cherished uncle of Victoria Calandra, Vance Auney, Donna Carone, Debby Estep. Visitation will be Sunday, January 29, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge. Funeral services will begin at 9:15 a.m. on Monday at the funeral home, then proceed to St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Northlake, for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery.
