Michael Barco, 83; U.S. Army, Korean Conflict Veteran; Beloved husband of Vita for 57 years; Devoted father of Anna (Robert) Kirby and Rachel (Mark) Ellsworth; Loving grandfather of Katie and Michael Kirby and Jacquelyn and Penelope Ellsworth; Dear brother of the late Frank (the late Marie) Barca, Joseph (Beverly) Barca and Nick (Anna) Barca; Dear brother-in-law of the late Teresa (the late Romeo) Subrizzi, the late Mary (the late Paul) Seno, the late Francesca (Pietro) Salomone, the late Vincenza (the late Vince) Piscopo and Josephine (the late Joseph) Sisto. Godfather to Michael Balice, the late Carl Seno, Alan Barca, Tony Barca and Larry Piscopo. Beloved uncle to many. Michael was a steelworker for 34 years at American Can Company and a former employee of Triton College. Visitation will be Friday Nov. 4th from 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge followed by a procession to The Shrine of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Melrose Park for 11:00 a.m. Mass.
