Mehrnoosh Hatami, age 49, passed away unexpectedly on August 19, 2026. Mehrnoosh was the loving mother of Kiarash (Kristina Payton) and Niusha (Kenneth Heidemann) Khansanami; dearest daughter of Fatemeh and the late Ali Hatami; cherished grandmother of Narmina Heidemann; dear sister of Mostafa (Leila Zakikhani) and Mohsen Hatami; and a fond aunt of Mehrtash Hatami.
Mehrnoosh had a true passion for motorcycles and the riding community. She was a proud member of Chicago United Riders and co-founder of Illinois Rider Escape, where she helped bring riders together and empower others. Riding was one of the things that brought her the most happiness. She loved the freedom of being on her bike and the friendships she made along the way. More than anything, Mehrnoosh loved her family and friends. She was a strong woman with a big heart who would do anything for the people she loved, especially her children. She was always there when someone needed her and never hesitated to lend a helping hand. She also adored her two dogs, Leo and Lucy, who meant the world to her. Mehrnoosh lived her life with strength, love, and generosity. She will be remembered for her caring heart, her love for her family, and the happiness she brought to those around her. She will be deeply missed, but the love she gave and the memories she created will live on in everyone who knew and loved her.
