Mayme Rogula

Mayme 'Miss May' Rogula nee Alaimo, 91. Cherished wife of Wasco; Loving mother of Alexandria (Joe) Accardi; Devoted grandmother of Gabriella, Marcella and Angelo; Dear sister of Joe (Marilyn) Alaimo, Josephine (Roy) Held, the late Bartoli (the late Pearl) Alaimo and the late Evangeline (Norbert) Schroeder; fond aunt of many. Mayme loved opera, ballet and poetry and spent her life teaching the arts. She most recently taught art at St. Thomas of Canterbury in Chicago. Visitation Thursday Oct. 16 from 3 to 9:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge. Funeral Services begin Friday 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home and will then proceed to St. Clement Church for Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be private. Any donations received by the family will be used toward an academic arts scholarship in accordance with Mayme's passion for the Arts
