Mason Orchard

Mason L. Orchard, age 4, passed away on April 16, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with Rhabdomyosarcoma. Mason is the cherished son of Magdalena Zasadzinska and Micah Orchard; dearest grandson of Beata, nee Biskowska, and Adam Zasadzinski, Carla, nee Lappa, and Steven Orchard; adored great grandson of Carol and the late Loreto 'Ray' Lappa, Geraldine and Thomas Orchard, Irena Schneider, and Stefania and Marian Zasadzinski; dearest nephew of Brian (Michelle) Orchard, Stephanie (Joe) Novak, Matt (Kelly Sufranski), Kevin, and Magdaline Orchard and beloved cousin of Emily, Adam, and Steven. Mason was a preschool student at Pope Francis Global Academy at St. Tarcissus Parish in Chicago. Mason’s favorite color was blue, and it is his family’s request that everyone wear spring colors to celebrate his life. Visitation will be Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services will be Friday, family and friends are asked to meet at St. Tarcissus Church 6020 W. Ardmore Ave., Chicago for Mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be private. Info 708-456-8300.
