Maryellen Theisen

MaryEllen Theisen nee Oehler, 78, at rest January 18, 2025.  Graduate of North Park College; graduate of Northeastern Illinois University with a Master's degree.  School counselor for many years at LaFayette Elementary School (1969-1994), and Belding Elementary School (1994-2007).  Devoted friend to all.  Affectionately known as 'Cat Lady' for the love and care she showed her friendly felines.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Harmony House for Cats (P.O. Box 18098 Chicago, IL 60618) in MaryEllen's memory.  Memorial Visitation will be Saturday, March 22, from 12:00 Noon, until time of Memorial Service at 2:30 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge.  Info:  708-456-8300
