Mary Wilkens nee Bornhorst, 86, of Chicago; Born in Lengerich, Germany, passed away at her home August 2nd, 2013; Beloved wife of the late Herman; Loving mother of Mary Ann (Hon. Patrick J.) Levar, Helen, William, M.D. and Rick (Laura) Wilkens; Dearest grandmother of Patrick, Jr. (Jeanene), Michelle, Ryan and Julie Levar, Shannon and Brendan Wilkens, Elaina and Marisa Wilkens and great-grandmother of Patrick Robert, Clare and Maeve Levar; Dear sister of Josefa Kramer and the late Jozef (Hanni) Bornhorst; Fond aunt and great-aunt to many nieces and nephews and a dear friend to many. Mary worked at St. Patrick High School from 1974 - 1991. Visitation will be held Monday August 5th from 3:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge. Funeral services will begin Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. from the funeral home proceeding to St. Juliana Church for 10:00 a.m. Mass. Interment Maryhill Cemetery.
