Mary E. Vidas

Mary E. Vidas, Age 81, passed away peacefully on May 11, 2026. Mary was the loving daughter of the late Mary (nee Ruzich) and the late John Vidas; beloved sister of the late LaVerne (the late Thomas) DeLong, the late Louise (the late Harold) Gatenby, the late Bob and William Vidas, and Patricia Carter; dear step-sister of George Mitten, and she was a fond aunt of many.

Mary worked for the C.T.A. for over 30 years.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W Lawrence Ave. Funeral Thursday, May 14, 2026, beginning at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. and then proceeding to St. Rosalie Church in Harwood Heights for a mass at 11:00 a.m. The interment will follow at Maryhill Cemetery in Niles.
