Mary Stanwyck

Mary Stanwyck, nee Rogowski, age 98 passed away peacefully at home on November 9, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Mary was born on May 1, 1926 and resided in Chicago. She loved to garden and was a long-time member of the Friendship Club at Our Lady, Mother of the Church. She will live in our hearts forever.

Mary was the beloved wife of the late Peter J.; loving mother of Paul J. Stanwyck and Catherine (David) Brown; dear daughter of the late Catherine (Katarzyna Plis) and William (Walenty) Rogowski; cherished grandmother of Kaitlyn D. Stanwyck and Adam D. and Kyle L. Brown; dear sister of the late Raymond Rogowski, Stella (Edward) Sliz, Helen Rogowski, Adeline (Leo) Powers and Walter Rogowski; fond aunt of Robert Sliz.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association at alz.org would be appreciated.

Visitation Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. We will then proceed to Our Lady, Mother of the Church for Mass at 11:30 a.m., and the interment will follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Niles. For more information call (708)456-8300.
