Mary Ann Scanlon

Mary 'Ann' Scanlon (nee O'Callaghan) age 80, born in Kiskeam Co. Cork, Ireland passed away on October 18th, 2024 suddenly.  Ann was the beloved wife of the late Michael Scanlon for many blessed years; loving mother of Joann(Lane) Hendle, Michael(Kathleen) Scanlon and Eileen(Billy) Mahler; dearest daughter of late Daniel and Hannah O'Callaghan; cherished Nana of Kyle(Jacy), Kaileen(Jack), Ryan(Courtney), Kevin, Aaron, Brayden, Payton, Connor and Jaxx; doting mom of her furry companion Chipper; dear sister of Patrick(Eileen) O'Callaghan, the late Hannah(Joseph) McPartlan, the late Sean(Rita) O'Callaghan and the late Sr. Eileen O'Callaghan D.C.; faithful aunt and sister-in-law to her extended Scanlon and O'Callaghan families; fond friend to all who sat at her kitchen table or crossed her path. In lieu of flowers, donations to either American Heart Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be an honorable tribute to Ann.  Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 23rd, 2024 at St. Francis Borgia Church 8033 W. Addison Street Chicago, IL 60634. Visitation will be from10:00am until mass at 11:00am. The interment will follow at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
