Mary Patricia Phelan

Mary Patricia "Pat" Phelan (nee Mahoney) age 93, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 6, 2025. Pat was a beloved wife to the late James W. "Jim"; loving mother of Patricia E. "Trish" (Kevin) O'Hagan, Mary C., Michael W., Timothy (Tammi) and the late James W., Jr. and Thomas Phelan; dear daughter of the late Mary and William Mahoney; cherished grandmother of Michael and Kristen Phelan, Daniel (Kaiti), Peggy and Kathleen O'Hagan, Jake and the late McKenna Phelan; great grandmother of Audrey, Lily, Bridie, Mack and Brendan; dearest sister of the late William (the late Elizabeth) Mahoney, Margaret (the late William) Enright and the late Kathryn (the late Vincent) Lyons, and she was a fond aunt, cousin and friend of many.
Visitation Friday, December 12, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral Saturday, friends and family will meet St. Vincent Ferrer Church in River Forest for Mass at 10:00 a.m. The interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.
