Mary Neu

Mary Ann Neu, age 93, Passed away on February 6, 2017. She immigrated from Germany and became a naturalized citizen on January 27, 1937. She worked until she was 85, the last 18 years of her career were spent working in the cafeteria at Ridgewood High and She has lived in the same house in Norridge, Il since 1957. Mary was a life long Cubs fan and was excited to see her beloved Cubs finally win the world series. She and her husband, Werner, spent many days watching the cubs from the right field bleachers. Mary is the Beloved Wife of the late Werner Neu. Beloved Daughter of the late Bertha Himsl and the late Frank Bernhard Fond Sister of Hilda Koeplin, Frank Bernhard, Helen Tate (deceased) Fond Aunt of Sandra Koeplin-Gall, Carol Koeplin, John Koeplin, Nancy Koeplin(deceased), Robert Koeplin, Jim Koeplin, Tom Koeplin, Frank Jay Bernhard, Josef Bernhard, Dennis Tate, Gertrude Makarski, and Numerous grand nieces and nephews. Visitation Saturday February 11, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11:30 a.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in River Grove.
