Mary Knitter

Mary Knitter, nee DiCiaula, age 89, passed away on July 15, 2019, surrounded by her loving family. Mary was the beloved wife of Alexander J. for 67 wonderful years; loving mother of Michael C. (Susan), Christine A. and Paul (Nancy) Knitter; dearest daughter of the late Christina and Matteo DiCiaula; cherished grandmother of Benjamin, Joshua, Jonathan, Stephen, Emily, Amanda and Karina; dear sister of the late Stella Campise, the late Guy (LaVerne) and the late Joseph (Elaine) DiCiaula, and she was a fond aunt of many. In lieu of flowers, donations to: The American Cancer Society, would be appreciated. Visitation Thursday July 18, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m., and we will proceed to St. Celestine Church, in Elmwood Park, for a funeral mass at 11:30 a.m. The interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.
