Mary Jean Campanile (nee Iannino) age 92, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 12, 2026. Mary Jean was the beloved wife of the late Rocco M. Campanile for 57 wonderful years; loving mother of Sharon (Anthony) Grande, Rocco S. (Lisa) and Michael P. (Emily) Campanile; dearest daughter of the late Luigina (nee Bruno) and the late Pasquale Iannino; cherished grandmother of Sarah, David, Matthew and Elise Grande, Alexa Campanile, Bianca (Joe) Dellanina, Micaela, Angela, Nicole and Michael Campanile; dear sister of the late Joseph (the late Marie) Iannino, the late Lydia (the late Joseph) Mazza, and the late Pat (the late Ronnie) Iannino; dear sister-in-law of the late Frances (the late Paul) Furio, the late Vito (Pat) Campanile, and the late Angela, Rosa, Frank, and Mary. She was a fond aunt of many.
Mary Jean was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother whose greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends and creating lasting memories with those she loved. She was strong and determined, classy and fashionable, and she was truly the heart and strength of her family. Her door was always open, and she loved nothing more than welcoming others into her home to share stories, laughter, and time together. Her famous question, “Are you stopping over?” became a beloved phrase that those closest to her knew so well and will forever hold dear.
She had a gift of bringing family and friends together, often through her wonderful cooking. Her homemade pizza, minestrone soup, pasta and meatballs were family favorites, and there were always pizzelles and a homemade poundcake ready for anyone who came to visit. She dedicated her life to the people she loved the most and will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
