Mary Howaniec

Mary Howaniec, nee Kaplan, age 93, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2023. Mary was the beloved wife of the late Chester; loving mother of Diana (the late Daniel) Conrad, Carol Day, Mary (the late James) Schiffer and Chester (Elizabeth) Howaniec; dearest daughter of the late Rose and Joseph; cherished grandmother of Cristen, (Joseph) Sprenger, Daniel and Jeffrey (Alexis) Conrad, Jonathan Day, Julie (Mo) Day-Namik, Jacqueline, James Jr. (Kathleen) and Mary Kathryn Schiffer, Chloe (James) Nash and Andrew Joseph Howaniec; great grandmother of Timothy, Emersyn, Elliot, Henry, Isla, Parker, Cody and the late Jack; dear sister of the late Edwin, Raymond, John and Casey Kaplan, Jean Lewon and Cecilia Gielarowski; fond aunt of many.

Visitation Tuesday, March 21, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL.
