Mary L. Harjung (nee Schiro), 97, passed away on November 27, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Michael (Mike) W. Harjung. Loving mother of JoAnn Harjung, Michael J. (Vicky) Harjung and George (Nancy) Harjung. Loving grandmother of Michael J. Jr., Mathew and Joshua (Audrey). Adored great grandmother to Aiden and Hanna. Loving sister to Vito (Myrna) Schiro, the late Saverio (Estelle) Schiro, the late George (the late Frances) Schiro, the late Frances (the late George) Koukios and the late Joseph Schiro. Dear cousin, aunt and friend to many. Mary was a loving, warm, generous person who cherished her family above all else. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Visitation Friday, December 5, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. We will then proceed to Immaculate Conception Church in Chicago for Mass at 11:00 a.m., and the interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Hillside, Il.
