Martin E. McNeela, age 87, Korean War Veteran. Beloved husband of JoAnn nee Krautter; loving father of Martin (Isabelle), Bryan (Cathy), Kathleen (Michael) Burns, Mary (David) Allegretti, Karen, and Susan (Greg) Alcazar; dear son of the late Bryan and the late Sabina (Ruane) McNeela; adored grandfather of Danny, Kevin and Stephen McNeela, Bryan McNeela, Tara, Patrick, Colleen, Kelan and Brenna Burns, Matthew, Erin, Ashley and Ryan Allegretti, Michael, Nicholas, Bryan and Luke Alcazar; dear brother of Bernard (the late Lou), the late Bill (the late Jackie), (Carmen), the late Don (Joan), the late Mary (Tom) Gilligan and Joseph; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Visitation Thursday May 25, 3:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL Funeral services begin Friday 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home and will proceed to St. Monica Church, Mass 10:00 a.m. Interment All Saints Cemetery. Martin was the past president of Park National Bank. In lieu of flowers donations to Little Sister of the Poor (littlesistersofthepoorchicago.org) would be appreciated.
