Martha Petramala

Martha Petramala (Ried) of Chicago, Il. Passed away at at the age of 70, at Rainbow (the Ark) Hospice after an heroic struggle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her spouse Steven Petramala, and her parents Lois Grace Ried (Mockett) and Andrew Ried. She is survived by her Susan (John) Stapelman (Ried), Phillip (Mary) Ried, Dan and Maria Starzec. She was a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews.She was a graduate of St Gregory the Great High School. She married her high school sweet heart Steven Petramala in 1971. They were avid travelers and journeyed around the world. In recent years she went to Ireland, Italy and Mexico. She was an active member of her church, Immaculate Conception and was a passionate member of their choir where she had enjoyed many friendships Funeral mass will take place at Immaculate Conception Friday 6/26, at 11:00. Graveside service to follow at All Saints Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Rainbow Hospice.
