Mark Wilczynski

Mark Wilczynski, age 64, passed away unexpectedly at home on February 23, 2024. Mark was the loviong companion of Antonia "Tony" Lopez; dear son of the late Eugeniusz and Zofia, nee Zdeb, Wilczynski, and step-son of Michael Zdeb; dearest brother of Adam, Mike and Liz Wilczynski; cherished uncle of Dana Pazdzioch, great uncle of Brian Devitt and godfather of Jessica DiGiacomo and Christian Santos.  Mark was a friend to all who knew him.



Mark was an accomplished drummer and had a passion for music across all genres. The only thing he loved more than music was playing with those who shared the same passion. Mark was a kind hearted soul, he was loving, giving, caring, humorous and would always put a smile on your face. Mark will be greatly missed by his family, the music community and the countless friends who loved him.



Visitation Thursday, February 29, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. (Prayer Service 5:30 p.m.) at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. All services will conclude Thursday evening at the funeral home, and the interment will be private. For more information call (708)456-8300.
