Marilyn Vitello

Marilyn Vitello age 86, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2025. She lived a full and wonderful life and was dearly loved by her many relatives and friends. Born in Chicago Illinois on September 30, 1939 to the late John "Jocko" Wallace and the late Ruth (Nee Hauser) Wallace. Beloved wife, to the love of her life, Joseph Vitello for 67 years. Loving mother of Debbie (the late Robert Ghelfi), John ‘Jack’ Vitello (Angel White) and Joey Vitello. Cherished Nani of Faith Ghelfi. Dearest sister of Michael Wallace and the late Jack Wallace. Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews. Marilyn will leave a legacy of kindness, love and generosity. She enjoyed life to the fullest and made a positive impact on all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Heart Association.

 Visitation for Marilyn will take place on Monday, December 29, 2025 from 3:00pm until 8:00pm at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, IL. Funeral Tuesday, December 30, 2025 beginning at the funeral home at 9:15am and then proceed to St. Pascal Catholic Church in Chicago for 10:30am Mass. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in River Grove, Il.
