Marie Dalicandro, age 96, of Chicago was called home on November 9, 2020 to join her loving parents the late Biondina, nee Avino, the late Gennaro Iovino, her late husband Daniel and sons the late Laurence and Daniel (Donna), and the late Michael (Mary Ellen Doherty) Dalicandro. Marie is survived by her beloved son James (Eileen Belmonte) Dalicandro. She was a dear sister to the late Lucille (the late John) Cuneo, the late Peggy (the late James) Buonincontro, and the late James (the late Mary Ellen) Iovino; Cherished grandmother of Denise (Joe Bianca), Debbie, and Daniel (Marta) Dalicandro, Danielle (Luke Scislowicz) and Michael John Dalicandro; great grandmother of Tommy Bianca, Dominick, Daniel and Madison Dalicandro, Colin and Ian Scislowicz, and Jack the dog; loving aunt to Linda (Michael John) Brinkman, Janet Buonincontro, and John (Andi) Cuneo; Great aunt to Monique Buonincontro. She was a cousin, aunt and friend of many. Marie was a proud member of the Women of the Moose, the Brickyard Seniors and Saint Pascal’s Women’s Club, as well as an election judge for four decades. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association would be appreciated. Funeral Saturday, friends and family are asked to meet at St. Pascal Church 3935 N.
