Marie Catania, (Bellamia), age 74, passed away peacefully on July 30, 2026. Marie was the beloved fiance' of Joseph Nasca; loving mother of Michael B. (Melissa), Judith and George Catania, Sam (Kim) Nasca, Dena (Richard) Ranieri, Kimberly (Mike) Carey, Mary (Rich) Orvino and Joe Nasca, Jr.; dear daughter of the late Kathryn (Izzo) and the late Frank J. Bellamia; cherished grandmother of Ava, Bellamia, Sam, Jake, Nick, Marco, Anthony, Francesca, Nina, Rocky, Sophia, Joey, Amanda, Gianna, Gina and Shelby; dearest sister of Frank (Kim) Bellamia, Karen (Tony) Scimeca, Kathy (David) Fowler, and the late Mark (Mary Jane) Bellamia, She also was a loving Aunt to Nicole, Katie, Anthony, Amanda, David, Frank Jr., Steven, Kristin and Karri.

Visitation Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. A Catholic Prayer Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, and the interment will be private. For more information call (708)456-8300.
