Marianna Volpe (nee Sgaramella) age 98, of Elmwood Park, at rest on July 14, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Joseph. Loving mother of Rosemary Volpe, Filomena Volpe, John Volpe and Valentino (Kathy) Volpe. Cherished Nonna of Kamron and Kristen. Devoted daughter of the late Valentino and the late Filomena (nee Raimondi) Sgaramella. Dear sister of the late Giuseppe (the late Maria Scala) Sgaramella, Antonio (the late Maria) Sgaramella, Francesco (the late Chiara) Sgaramella and the late Agata Sgaramella. Fond aunt, cousin and friend to many. Visitation will take place on Thursday, July 20, 2023 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, Il. Funeral Friday, beginning at the funeral home at 9:00 am and will then proceed to St. Celestine Church (St. Mother Theodore Guerin Parish) in Elmwood Park for 10:00 am Mass. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.
