Maria R. Zuniga, age 33, Passed away suddenly on Wednesday August 3, 2016. Beloved daughter of Val and Marian Zuniga. Dear sister of Chris Zuniga (Meaghan) and Lisa (Victor) Cardona. Loving aunt of Natalia. Cherished granddaughter of Rita Gerich. Fond niece, cousin and special friend to many. Loving goddaughter of Frank and Kathy Hengelmann. Maria was a wonderful person and a kind and compassionate nurse at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge. Visitation Sunday August 7th 2016 from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge. Funeral Monday beginning at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. and then proceeding to Our Lady of Victory Church for 11:00 a.m. Mass.
