Dear daughter-in-law of Robert and Peggy Tolzien. Dear sister of 11. Fond aunt and great aunt of many. Maria was a devout Catholic and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W Lawrence Ave, Norridge. Funeral services will begin on Friday at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home, then proceed to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.
