Maria Spice

Maria Spice, nee Di Nunzio, age 79. Beloved wife of the late Richard T. Spice; loving mother of Emilia and Salvatore (Mary M.) Ruggiero; cherished grandmother of Salvatore N., who was like a son to Maria, and Isabella and Phillip Ruggiero; dear sister of Gennaro and Pasquale (the late Rosalda) and the late Giovanni (Gianna) Di Nunzio; fond aunt of many. Maria was a caring, loving and benevolent wife, mother and grandmother who developed a toughness from dealing with adversity in her life, and she lived by the motto, 'Never Give Up'. She was employed by Zenith Electronics for over 30 years. Visitation Sunday from 2:00p.m. until 8:00p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services will begin Monday 9:00a.m., at the funeral home, and will proceed to Our Lady, Mother of the church, in Chicago, for Mass at 10:00a.m. Interment Mt.
