Maria Petitto

Maria Petitto, nee Paterno, age 90, passed away suddenly on September 15, 2019. Maria was the beloved wife of the late Giovanni "John"; loving mother of Maria (James) Petitto-Penland, Silvia (Roger) Sutherland and Linda (James) Petitto-Kalabokis; dearest daughter of the late Filippa and Giuseppe Paterno; cherished grandmother of Michael (Claudine Simmons) and Steven Penland, Harvest (Tim) Hoffman, Sarah (Rodney) Christensen, Lisa and John Kalabokis; great grandmother of Joseph, Nicholas and Jack Penland and Anabelle Christensen; dear sister of the late Pietro and Alessandro Paterno. Maria was a fond aunt of many. Visitation Wednesday, September 18, 2019, from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL .
