Maria A. Medina 51 of Des Plaines. At rest Thursday, January 23 ^rd . Beloved wife of Jose, Loving mother of Juan A. Bahena, Julian J. and Jovanni. Beloved daughter of Jose and Virginia Cruz. Dear sister of Sylvia Cruz and Jose (Eledia) Cruz. It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Maria, lovingly known as "Baby Girl," the heart and soul of Sunrise Grill. Maria was more than just a co-owner; she was a source of warmth, kindness, and unwavering dedication to everyone who walked through our doors.

Her passion for creating memorable experiences, her infectious smile, and her ability to make everyone feel like family will never be forgotten. She touched countless lives, and her legacy will forever remain a part of Sunrise Grill.

To our wonderful community, thank you for the love and support you’ve shown us over the years. We invite you to celebrate Maria’s beautiful life with us by sharing your favorite memories here.  Rest in peace, Baby Girl. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Visitation Tuesday, January 28 ^th from 3:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Cumberland Chapels (FRIEL FUNERAL DIRETORS) 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge. Funeral Services will Begin: Wednesday 8:45 A.M.  at the Funeral Home and will proceed to The Shrine of our Lady of Guadalupe 1170 N. River Rd., Des Plaines.

Funeral Mass 10:00 A.M.. The burial will take place at the All Saints Cemetery, Des Plaines.
