Maria Fanelli nee Brunetti, 103. Beloved wife of the late Nicola; Cherished mother of John (Rosanne) Fanelli, and Lana (Chuck) Verhines; loving grandmother of Johnny (Sydney) Fanelli, Adam (Amanda) Manta, Nicholas (Mu) Fanelli, Heather (Bob) Mazuka, Tyler Verhines and Sarah Verhines and great grandmother of 10; Dear sister of Grazia of Mola di Bari, Italy and sister-in-law of Rosalie Brunetti; predeceased by many brothers & sisters; fond aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews. Maria was a wonderful, sweet, loving person, an incredible cook and an amazing seamstress. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her life and her heart. We are all very fortunate to have had her in our lives for so many years. We know she is now at peace with God and her loved ones. Visitation Thursday, May 20th from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave, Norridge. Funeral Friday, friends and family to gather at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home for a 10:30 a.m. service. Entombment to follow at All Saints Mausoleum.
