Maria Borejko

Maria Borejko, nee Doubovetz, age 87, passed away peacefully at home on May 17, 2017. Maria was the beloved wife of the late Wasyl Borejko and the late Yaroslav Sadovij; loving mother of Volodymyr (Nadia) Sadovij, Nadia (Father Stepan) Sadova-Kostiuk and the late Wasyl (Nadia) Sadovij; cherished grandmother of Petro (Iryna) and Wasyl Sadovij, Olesya, Khrystyna and Iryna Sadova and Martha Kostiuk; great grandmother of Valentyn and Pavlo; dear sister of Kateryna Kovalyshyn and a fond aunt of many. Visitation Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, at the funeral home, and we will then proceed to St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral 835 N. Oakley Blvd., Chicago, IL. for a Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery. Info 708-456-8300.
