Margaret Conneely

Margaret E. Conneely, age 74, passed away on January 9, 2026.

Margaret was born in Connemara, a district in western Ireland, to the late Martin Conneely and the late Bridget (nee Mulkerrin) Conneely. She spent many years living in Chicago before making her home in Norridge, Illinois.

Margaret was the dearest sister of Maureen (the late Bob) Palushek, Bridie (Hugh) Gallagly, Ann (Coley) Conneely, and the late Kathleen (the late Bruce) Davis. She was a loving and devoted aunt to Bridie, Hugh, Irene, Erin, Eileen, Patrick, Tara, Bridget, Bobby, Sean, Maureen, Tricia, Danny, Kevin, Martin, Kathleen, and Ann Marie, and a cherished great-aunt to many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Margaret dedicated many years of faithful service working for the Chicago Archdiocese, a role she took great pride in.

Visitation for Margaret will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, Illinois. Funeral services will take place Wednesday, beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home, then proceeding to Queen of Peace Parish at St. Eugene Church for Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be private at Maryhill Cemetery.
