Lucia Variale

Lucia Variale, nee Caringella, age 86, passed away peacefully at her home on July 8, 2021. Lucia was the beloved wife of Onofrio for 64 wonderful years; loving mother of Catherina (Mark) Hendricks, Vincenzo (Nicoletta) Variale and Celeste (Joseph) Viso; dearest daughter of the late Celeste and Santo Caringella; cherished grandmother of Larry (Katie) and Matthew Huettl, Adrianna (Alexander) Kisfalvi, Daniella (Andrew) Martinez and Anthony Leszko; great grandmother of Tristan, Luke, Miabella and Madison; dear sister of Vincenzo (Caterina) Caringella, Rosa (the late Gaetano) Battista, Isabella (Angelo) and the late Vito (Chiara) Caringella; fond aunt of many. Visitation Tuesday, July 13, 2021, from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. We will then proceed to St. Beatrice Church / Holy Virgin Martyrs Parish in Schiller Park, IL for Mass at 11:30 a.m. The entombment will be at the Crucifixion Garden Mausoleum in St. Joseph Cemetery, River Grove, IL.
