Luboslawa Szandra

Luboslawa "Luba" Szandra, nee Kurylowycz, age 98, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2024. Luba was the beloved wife of the late Dr. Joseph Szandra for over 71 years; loving mother of Diana (Dr. Wolodymyr) Minkowycz, Renata Motria Szandra and Lisa Violet (George) Sambor; cherished grandmother of Liliana Minkowycz, Adria (Caleb) Rich, Daniel Sambor and Hania (Christian Patti) Sambor, and great grandmother of Seth Ellis and Josephine Leigh Rich; dear sister of Bohdanna Bilowchtchuk and fond aunt of many.

Visitation Sunday, February 4, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. (Panachyda 4:00 p.m.) Funeral services begin at 9:15 a.m. on Monday, at the funeral home, and we will proceed to St. Joseph the Betrothed Ukrainian Catholic Church 5000 N Cumberland Ave, Chicago, IL, 60656, for Mass at 10:15 a.m. The entombment will be private at St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Mausoleum.
