Lowell Douglas "Doug" Holder, age 84, U.S. Navy Veteran, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2021. Doug was the beloved husband of Norma, nee Michelotti, for 56 wonderful years; loving father of Victoria L. (Dennis) Schweitzer, Michelle L. (the late Daniel) Healy, Craig B. and the late David M. (Kara) Holder; dearest son of the late Reva and Lloyd Holder; cherished grandfather of Michael Seidl, Ryan (Justy) Holder, Dennis and Anthony Schweitzer, Max Holder and Zech Smith; great grandfather of Benjamin, Dominick and Ezra; dear brother of Marcella (the late Joe) Gard and the late Geraldine and the late Lloyd (Kathy) Holder. Visitation Sunday, March 28, 2021, from 2:00 p.m. until the presentation of U.S. Naval Military Honors at 5:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. The interment will be private. Due to the current health guidelines, we are limited to 50 attendees at a time. We kindly ask that you exit the funeral home after paying your respects to the family so that all visitors have an opportunity to enter. Please wear masks and practice proper social distancing.
