Lottie Pawlik, nee Stankiewicz, of Norridge, beloved wife of the late Joseph F. Pawlik Sr., passed away at St. Patrick’s Residence in Naperville on July 2, at the age of 83. Mrs. Pawlik was born on July 29, 1929, in Chicago. She met her future husband Joe at a church social. They were married six months later at St. Stanislaus Kostka and celebrated 55 years of marriage. They raised three children, Joseph, Jr., Cindy (Gary) Nolan and Dawn (Keith) Matune. Their children gave them the cherished gift of eight grandchildren; Jonathan and Jessica Pawlik, Patrick and Michael Nolan, Drew, Quin, Megan and Bryce Matune. Mrs. Pawlik’s adult years were spent as a devoted mother and grandmother. She made it a point to teach her children and grandchildren to read, write and calculate math. She made sure there were hot meals on the table, clean clothes to wear and a little extra in their pockets, even when it was not always available. She instilled a deep sense of pride in their Polish heritage to her family. Lottie was a quiet, but steady presence for all who knew her and did so with a warm smile and a generous, loving heart. Lottie and her cherished husband Joe will now celebrate their upcoming birthday, of which they share the same date, together in Heaven. The family would like to thank the loving staff at St. Patrick’s and requests that any donations in her name be forwarded to: St. Patrick’s Residence, 1400 Brookdale RoadNaperville, IL 60563, Or Restore St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, 1351 Evergreen Street, Chicago, IL 60642
