Lope T. Hilado Sr., age 87. Beloved husband of Corazon Hilado Zapata; loving father of Janet (Eric) Hess, Maureen Hilado, Mae (Bert) Santiago, Ester (Rick) Wankowski, Norwin Hilado, Lope Jr. (Melany) Hilado, and Chris (Michelle) San Juan; fond grandfather of Mark, DJ (Adam), John, Jay Jay (May May), Therese, Marissa, Kristen, Tyler, Brandon, Neo, Bella, Ava, Cherell, Chris Jr., Coby, and Conner; great grandfather of Alana and Ariel; dear brother of Pacencia Tigmo and Juanita Gencaya. Visitation will be Thursday, January 23, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Friday, January 24, 2020 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, IL 60706. Funeral Services begin Saturday at 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home and will proceed to St. Benedict Catholic Church at 2215 W. Irving Park Rd, Chicago, IL 60618 for 10:30 a.m. Mass. Interment is private. The family has requested that for those attending the visitation Thursday and Friday to please wear a Chicago Cubs shirt if they have one other wise no black clothing.
