Linda Bilissis

Linda Bilissis, nee Dover, age 80, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 6, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Linda was the beloved wife of the late Leonidas; loving mother of Paula (Robert) Thomas and Christos (Tammy Neuzil) Bilissis; dearest daughter of the late Georgia and Louis Dover; dearest stepdaughter to the late Anastasia Dover; cherished grandmother of Leah and Austen Thomas, Elle and Leo Bilissis, Brandon (Lisa) Stieg, Breona and Lexi Hall; cherished great grandmother of Zinnia and Malayna Stieg; dear sister of Pauline (Paul) Hyam, the late John (the late Janet) Dover, the late Marilyn (Robert) Gage; dear stepsister of Steve (the late Camille) Sperounes, Louis (Regina) Sperounes and Penny Sperounes; fond aunt of many. Linda dedicated her life and free time to volunteering at church and in her community. She was so humbled to receive the Archangel Michael Honors by the Greek Orthodox Metropolis of Atlanta. Linda enjoyed life. She had many hobbies including baking, golfing, traveling, drawing, painting, and playing cards to name a few. Linda was devoted to her faith and her family. She was always there when family needed her. She also had many friends and was so well-loved. May Her Memory Be Eternal! Visitation and Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at St. Haralambos Greek Orthodox Church, 7373 N. Caldwell Avenue, Niles, IL. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. Funeral will begin at 10:00 a.m. The interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in River Grove.
