Lawrence Ventresca

Lawrence A. Ventresca, age 94, U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on June 8, 2026. Lawrence was the beloved father of Larry (Ann) Ventresca; dear son of the late Irene and Herman Ventresca; cherished grandfather of Alec L. Ventresca; dearest brother of the late Marilyn (Chris) Solos, and he was a fond cousin, godfather and friend of many.

Lawrence was a real estate developer, and the owner of Lawrence A. Ventresca and Co./Astor Development for many years.

Visitation Friday, June 12, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, at the funeral home, and then proceed to St. Eugene Church (Queen of Peace Parish) in Chicago for Mass at 10:00 a.m. The interment will follow at St. Adalbert Cemetery in Niles.
