Lawrence (Larry) K Gross, age 73, of Norridge, Illinois, passed away after a brief illness on September 29,2024 at the Ascension Alexian Brothers - Hospice Residence in Elk Grove Village, IL.
Larry is survived by his brothers Brian (Elizabeth) and Kevin (Patricia), Sister-in-Law Diane Gross, and his nephews Alec and Michael and nieces Kelsey, Kylie and Kayce and great nephew Caleb. He is predeceased by his parents Clifford and Eleanor (nee Batka) Gross and his brother Roger Gross.
Larry was born in Chicago and graduated from Lane Tech High School class of 1969. He worked in the jukebox and vending machine business for over 40 years. Larry was a devoted son, brother and uncle who cared deeply about family and friends and colleagues. He was liked by many and was generous to those who needed his help. He is known for enthusiastically celebrating the holidays with family and friends.
Visitation to celebrate Larry’s life will be on Thursday, October 4 th , 2024, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave, Norridge, IL 60706. Funeral services will take place Friday beginning at the funeral home at 9:30 am and will then proceed to Queen of Peace Parish at St. Eugene Catholic Church, 7958 W. Foster Ave, Chicago, IL 60656 for 10:30 am Mass of Christian Burial and following with Interment at St. Adalbert Cemetery, 6800 west Milwaukee Ave, Niles IL. 60714.
