Laverne Krzywicki

Laverne J. Krzywicki, nee Kotwas, age 91, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2020. Laverne was the beloved wife of William R. "Bill" for 66 wonderful years; loving mother of Rosanne (James) Dziedzic and Debra (Glenn) Babich; cherished grandmother of Christopher (Soo Shin) Dziedzic, Alison (Bryan) Fischer, Traci Dziedzic, Danielle (Matt) Giangrand and Aims Babich; beloved great-grandmother of Londyn and Hadley Fischer; dearest sister of the late Florence (the late Jerome) Zboinski, the late Rosalie (the late Richard) Labus, the late Donald (Doreen) Kotwas and the late Patricia (Kenneth) Witczak; dear sister in-law of Robert (Felicia) Krzywicki and Anthony (Ruth) Krzywicki, Veronica (the late Larry) Pettingill and the late Raymond (the late Mary) Krzywicki. Laverne was a loving aunt and great aunt of many. Visitation Tuesday, October 6, 2020, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, at the funeral home, and will then proceed to St. Eugene Church in Chicago for Mass at 11:30 a.m. The interment will follow at Maryhill Cemetery in Niles. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Laverne Krzywicki at alz.org would be appreciated. Due to the current health guidelines, we are limited to 50 attendees at a time. We kindly ask that you quickly exit the funeral home after paying your respects to the family so that all visitors have an opportunity to enter. Please wear masks and practice proper social distancing. Until further notice, the coffee room is not available for use. Please refrain from bringing food or beverages into the funeral home.
