Laverne Dziekan nee Luikaart, age 89. Devoted wife of the late Chester; beloved mother of Jim (Nancy) Dziekan, Patty Thiakos, Judi (Nick) Lopez, and Tom (Jina) Dziekan; dearest daughter of the late Owen Roland Luikaart and Mae Kalal; loving grandmother of Jim (Fianc Meghan), Paul, Danny, Steven, Owen, and Emma; Preceded in death by many sisters and brothers-in-law, especially Frank Dziekan; fond aunt and great aunt to many. Visitation, Wednesday July 6, 2016 from 8:30 am to 11:30 am at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, IL 60706. Funeral Services begin Wednesday 11:30 am at the Funeral Home and will proceed to St. Joseph Cemetery for Interment. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Central Baptist Village at 4747 N. Canfield Ave. Norridge, IL 60706.
