Laura Stempien
April 22, 1968 — January 20, 2025
Laura Ann Stempien, 56, passed away on January 20, 2025. She was the loving mother of Nicholas L. Stempien and the beloved daughter of Elide (née Unti) Stempien and the late Leonard Stempien. Laura was a cherished niece of Eugenia Bertolucci and a dear sister to John L. Stempien. She will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews: Sabrina Bartolomei, Annalisa Bartolomei, Amanda, Bobby, and Grace Stempien. Laura was like a sister to her cousin Elena Bartolomei and a cousin and friend to many.
In addition to her immediate family, Laura is survived by her aunts, uncles, and numerous cousins. Laura’s extended family and friends will remember her warmth, kindness, and the love she shared with all who knew her
Visitation for Laura will take place on Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Norridge, Il. Funeral Friday, Beginning at the funeral home at 9:30 am and then proceed to St. Monica Church in Chicago for 10:30 am Mass. Entombment will follow at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Mausoleum at the All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, Il.
