Laura Meads

Laura “Susie” Meads was born in Chicago on August 18 ^th , 1945 to Harold and Catherine Miller. Laura (Susie) passed away suddenly on June 19 ^th , 2024.  She is survived by her son, Mark (& wife Alesha) and grandchildren David and Jonathan. She was preceded in death by both of  parents, her sister, Linda and brother, Leroy. Her family called her "Susie" her whole life, when she started at Walgreen's at the Harlem-Irving-Plaza, she was Laura. She'd been at any and every of the Harlem/Irving Walgreen's since 1987. And she was too stubborn to retire. She loved her co-workers, she loved her customers, and she loved her family. We will all miss her terribly. In honor of her wishes some of her remains will be spread by her parents’ graves.
