Kyuko “Ken” Yoshida, age 80. Beloved husband of Kathleen Yoshida nee Winiecki for 55 years; loving father of Kristin (Cory) Lapinski nee Yoshida and Karen Yoshida; beloved son of the late Yuhachi and Yoko Yoshida; fond grandfather of Bryce and Adeline Lapinski; dear brother of Kinu Segawa, Kofu Yoshida, Yone Yoshioka, Naoko Koike, and Yutaka Yoshida; fond uncle and great uncle to many nieces and nephews. Kyuko was born in Japan and was a dedicated employee of Aida Press, the Cook County Highway Department, the Skokie School District, and Park Ridge Police Department. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Cumberland Chapels at 8300 W. Lawrence Ave. Funeral services will begin on Thursday at the funeral home at 9:00 am with immediate and extended family only to proceed to Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church for Mass at 10:00 am.
