Krystyna Klaczko

Krystyna A. Klaczko (nee Kucharska), age 86, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Easter Day, April 5, 2026. Krystyna was the beloved wife of Kazimierz for 57 wonderful years; loving mother of Lucyna (Eric) Langlund, Edwin (Sara) Klaczko, and Dorothy (Daniel) Witkowski; dear daughter of the late Zofia and Andrzej Kucharski; cherished babcia of Cameron Klaczko, Stefanie, Adriana, and Alexander Witkowski, and Samuel and Andrew Langlund; dearest sister of Maria (the late Joseph) Nagaj, and she was a fond aunt of many.

Krystyna was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who always put family first. She lived with love, resilience, and grace, leading by example each day. Faith in God was at the heart of who she was and guided her throughout her life. She found joy in singing, cooking, and gardening, and especially loved flowers. She will be remembered as a wonderful role model to her family and all who knew her.

Visitation Friday, April 10, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Cumberland Chapels 8300 W. Lawrence Ave., Norridge, IL. Funeral services begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, at the funeral home and will proceed to St. Ladislaus Church in Chicago for Mass at 11:00 a.m. The interment will follow at Maryhill Cemetery in Niles.
