Krystyna Kaniewski

Krystyna W. Kaniewski was born August 7, 1957 in Chicago, Illinois to Janina (nee Haim) Forc and the late Stanislaw Forc.  Krystyna was the oldest of her siblings, including the late Natalia Forc and the late Kazimierz Forc.



She was married to her dear husband, the late Bogdan Kaniewski for 31 years, up until he passed away in 2011.



She loved her two children, Alexis and Robert (Diana) Kaniewski with all of her heart, and adored her granddaughter Abigail Rose.



She leaves behind many dear cousins and friends, as well as her loving dog Charlie.



She worked at Jewel Osco for 24 years. But her main job was always taking care of her family, as she was there for her sister, father and mother, until she herself needed caring. Krystyna fought her health battles bravely with an unwavering spirit and determination for many years.



Krystyna passed away on August 30, 2025, surrounded by her loving children.



Memorial Visitation will take place on Saturday,  September 6, 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 8pm. at Cumberland Chapels, 8300 W Lawrence Ave Norridge.  Interment will be private.  Info:  708-456-8300
